The Fair Acres Family YMCA offers many land & water-based exercise classes per week.  Whether you are an advanced athlete or novice exerciser, come join us for a great workout in a non-intimidating atmosphere. Our group fitness classes are designed to challenge the intermediate/advanced participant and encourage the beginner.  Come join us and build a healthy lifestyle.

Class Descriptions

Indoor Cycling
High energy cycle fun! Sprints, Burst & Jumps. This is a great way to start your day.

Cycle Zone
An indoor cycling workout to challenge your level of fitness and burn calories. This class focuses on making you a better bicycle rider. An awesome cardio workout with motivating music.

Peak 8/Tabato Cycling
The Best return in Aerobic fitness for your time. 3-5 minute warm up, 30 seconds of maximum output, 90 seconds of recovery followed by a cool down. Repeated 8 times. Any fitness level may try.

Boot Camp
Take your body to the extreme with this class. Burpees, jumps, push-ups and more. Variety of exercise from cardio to weights. Routine changes daily, challenging the whole body.

The latest exercise sensation to hit the Gym. Dance to the rhythms of South America. Moderate aerobics that are fun. Burn calories while dancing away.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Smooth Flowing yoga poses focusing on movement rather than simply stretching. great flexibility & strength training. Yoga Mats and Rugs provided.

Great work for your core, along with improved flexibility to build long lean muscles and endurance. Mats and Yoga balls provided.

Tai Chi
Meditation in Motion.  Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that resembles dance with its soft, graceful, fluid motion.

Turbo Lift
Strength combined with cardio. Bar bells to Dumb bells. Lighter weights, rapid sequence. This class will tone and tighten with burning calories.

Silver Sneakers MSROM
Low Impact, Muscle, Strength and Range of motion class. Modifications for a variety of exercise levels and needs.
