The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from the inside out.
Kraken Swim Session
Build confidence and take your skills to the next level with the Fair Acres Family YMCA's Kraken Swim Team! In this program swimmers, coaches, and parents work together to develop first-class swimmers and youth who embody the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

These group lessons will offer infants and toddlers the opportunity to learn confidence and comfort being in the water along with an understanding of swimming positions. Parents will learn water safety and swimming guidance skills.

The Kent D. and Mary L. Steadley Memorial Trust, Fair Acres Family YMCA, and Carthage Golf Course have partnered to bring Carthage the best golf simulator in the industry.
When you book your spot, you get a private golf simulator space for yourself and your playing partners. Rentals are available to the public for $25/hour. Fair Acres Family YMCA Members will have special member pricing at $10 per hour.
